the code of distrust

I cooked a meal with pasta, garbanzo beans and boiled eggs last week. Bryan informed me that I broke the code of trust with that meal. I'm no longer allowed to be in the kitchen alone.

He did applaud me on my grocery shopping today though. I came home with none of those aforementioned items and 4 boxes of popcorn. Someone's a happy camper. And that someone is me. It's taken me 2.5 years to figure out how to get off of kitchen duty and I figured it out with one box of pasta, an old can of lentils and a moment of severe misjudgment.

Don't worry. Popcorn for dinner isn't all that bad. Especially when mixed with boiled eggs...

I love reading both your blogs. The tongue in cheek humor is perfect. Sometimes I read your "better off wed" posts aloud to my family so that they can enjoy a good laugh too. Thank you for sharing your wit. :)

A friend recommended your blog to me, and after scrolling through several posts and laughing out loud, I can see why! I especially enjoy the "things they don't tell you when you get married" and "reasons I'm glad I'm not pregnant posts," both of which I certainly relate to. Keep up the good work!
