I've always liked the name Penny. Maybe because in the '80s I loved this cartoon called The Rescuers where a sweet, little, mistreated orphan named Penny gets rescued from her evil foster family by two mice and a dragonfly named Evanrude. I always romanticized the idea of being an orphan, even though I had absolutely wonderful parents.
